Big Positive Impacts
Call them BPI’s, saves time, saves paper.
By being consistently entertaining, provocative or informative they transform people’s reaction to a brand from an eye roll to a welcome.
And continue to build people’s relationship with a brand until they actively enjoy spending time in the brand’s company.
What dreams do you have for your brand? Where do you want to get to? What is possible?
That’s our start point. Then we work backwards from there.
No rules. No preconceptions. No limits. What’s the best way of creating the kind of BPI you need to make your dream a bloody great big real and joyous thing?
Capabilities
It's All Possible
From forensic strategic thinking, to holy cow creative ideas and agile, never drop-a-ball production, we’re a collective of specialists focused on making Big Positive Impacts for our clients.
Capabilities
Design and branding
We work with existing and new brands to develop compelling propositions and platforms. Our work with companies like DFS, Krispy Kreme, Pets at Home and Fiat now influences every aspect of their business.
Capabilities
Advertising
We use advertising to create Big Positive Impacts, to transform peoples’ reaction to a brand from an eye roll to a welcome, and ultimately change how much time people are happy to spend in a brand’s company.
Capabilities
Social
Our team of social experts have developed 'social sense', a methodology to help brands navigate the choppy waters of social. We believe brand social should always be about doing good, or helping people feel good.
Capabilities
Digital
Our digital team is crucial in delivering fully integrated campaigns. But they also have their very own 'digital clients', for who they do fully immersive interactive experiences to fully programmatic deployment and everything in between.
Capabilities
Customer Experience
Ignore anybody who tells you that customer experience needs to be complicated. Our team of CX experts (we call them Ethology) will help you break down complex problems into manageable, affordable solutions so you can deliver rapid, measurable improvements in your organisation.
Capabilities
Content
Our in-house team, kworks, delivers cost effective content for use across all social and media channels. With facilities in Norwich, Leicester and London we can cover every aspect of content production from writing to filming, and editing to distribution.
Capabilities
B2B
Our B2B teams are our hidden gem, consistently fusing brilliant sector knowledge with creativity to deliver long-term solutions across a wide range of clients. A testament to their good work is that our two longest client relationships (18 and 22 years) are both B2B clients.
Capabilities
Direct and CRM
For many of our clients a one-to-one relationship with prospects or customers is key. Working with contemporary, often mind-bending technology our team are experienced in developing full customer journey programmes through to tactical sales drivers.
Capabilities
Experiential
For some brands and consumers the only way is up-close and personal. We love everything from pop-up sampling through to giant shows where cars appear by magic (thanks Dynamo!). Ideas are our start point, but we know that without brilliant production and logistics, stuff doesn’t happen.
Capabilities
Retail
With clients like DFS, Wilko and Pets at Home we get retail. Our IPA Gold Effectiveness Award for DFS in 2018 was a thumping stamp of approval from the rest of the industry.
Capabilities
Sport
Mongoose is our specialist sports marketing agency and provide a 360° offering. From rights holder brokering through to programme activation, they have it covered.

Leadership
The Senior Bods
Seen enough to have picked up a diverse wealth of experience, spanning all kinds of work, businesses, and sectors. Hungry enough to make krow an amazing and rewarding place to be, for our clients and for our people.
Leadership
John Quarrey
CEO
John started krow in 2005 along with Nick, Barry and Malcolm following 5 years as the President of Arc EMEA (the Digital and CRM division of Leo Burnett). Since then his focus has been on working with the agency’s clients to help them grow and develop their businesses whilst making sure that krow keeps pace with the world around it, unlike his golf.
Leadership
Blake Armstrong
Managing Director
In his 20 years of advertising, Blake is very proud to have managed some of the most awarded accounts in the UK, he’s less proud of his love for sugar based snacks, but he’s working on that.
Leadership
Vicki Saunders
Deputy Managing Director
A Business Director with 20 years experience, Vicki has been at the helm of some of our most successful multi-channel campaigns. A ninja multi-tasker, when she’s not leading krow, you’ll find her navigating her way through life with young twins.
Leadership
Nick Hastings
Executive Creative Director
Over his career Nick has been Creative Director at four leading agencies and developed the happy knack of creating populist campaigns that have won awards at all the meaningful creative festivals, and at both the IPA and APG effectiveness awards. Nick’s daughters think he’s cool, but they are young.
Leadership
Malcolm White
Head of Planning
What I’ve learned by working on three decades’ worth of high profile communications campaigns, many of them very challenging, is that it doesn’t have to be fun to be fun.
Leadership
Emma Rookledge
Head of Film
Our production-team leader with 20 years experience, Emma has delivered numerous award-winning, multi-disciplinary campaigns for leading brands. Responsible for leading the production of krow’s film and animation content, she cares passionately about craft and quality. She has a strong history of producing at any scale – from £500 to £2million+. Emma also founded kworks and is krow's planet-loving Green Ambassador.
Leadership
Aileen Ross
Planning Director
For over 20 years, with unrelenting curiosity for culture and consumer behaviour, Aileen has led the Planning on some of the UK’s biggest brands. She is also a mum of two spirited boys, author of our IPA Gold paper for DFS and wife to a Masterchef winner.
Leadership
Mark Coldham
Head of Operations
Mark has spent the last 35 years helping many of the UK’s most creative agencies to deliver the impossible on time and on budget. The last 14 of those at krow, he continues to espouse the mantra that there’s always a way. In his spare time, he’ll be found on a tennis court. A backhand as graceful as Federer, but sadly that’s where the similarity ends!
Leadership
Matthew Callaby
Finance Director
Matt is a qualified Chartered Certified accountant and has worked in media finance for over 20 years. He is also a keen homebrewer so if we either want help with a complex spreadsheet or what hops to use in an IPA then he’s the man to turn to.
Leadership
Matt Watts
Planning Director
Driven by a desire for great work, Matt has successfully led the planning on a wide variety of commercial, charitable and political accounts. As the second Matt hired by krow he’s often just called “Planner”.
Leadership
Darryl George
Creative Director
You name it, Darryl has created a campaign for it. Pet foods, alcoholic drinks, home furnishings, car phones; remember car phones? He’s also created them in every channel imaginable. And if that’s not flexible enough, Darryl is also an experienced yoga teacher.
Leadership
Camilla Moran
Head of Account Management
With 20 years under her belt working on some of the world’s biggest brands, Camilla motivates and nurtures the account handling department. She also keeps busy out of work with her smallest and most challenging clients – her two sons.
